I was reading a perfume forum, and there was a lot of hype about this one… I smelled a sample in the magazine and my first thought was : rubbing alcohol. It didn’t smell very pleasant to me. The next day, I went to Dillard’s to try on some perfume, and decided to try this one again, thinking the magazine sample may have been wrong. Alas, I still smelled rubbing alcohol, with only a slight hint of flowers.
The smell seems to fades fast too…but maybe it’s just me

Is it just me or does MJ’s Daisy smell like Dior’s J’adore or was it Michael Kors??? I forget..it might have been both.
I had a bottle of J’adore and MK a while back but quickly grew tired of it and I either gave it away or threw it out. Daisy was a gift but the first moment I took a whiff (sorry gals…) I HAD to get rid of it. And FAST. I recognized it instantly! Why do designers do this? Don’t they know this? I mean even if the recipe isn’t EXACTLY the same its too much..I expected more from Marc Jacobs.
Anyway…
It’s way too FEMME for my taste.
Love MJ but this seems way too floral, nauseating of a scent for his style…bottom line I don’t find it to be a sweet floral bouquet, I get floral jambalaya! It smells complicated and kinda leaves that stench in your nostrils.
For Dior…I can understand, but not MJ.
I give it three stars b/c MJ is still fab, his first parfum is absolute heaven, and the packaging for Daisy is really cute. The other two would have been left up to the scent but….no thanks.
If you like a bit more simplicity and floral…try mj marc jacob, prada by prada, or even burberry london.
I’m more into scents like…
stella, mj mj, nina ricci’s les Belles collection, coco mademoiselle, chance, and philosophy’s grace collection kinda gal.

shipping was fast but the product was watered down. My wife said that the sent didnt stay on that long. I took the item to a department store and the sent and color of the Daisy in the store was much stronger and darker.

This is the one perfume that I stopped and smelled and loved it immediately. A few weeks later I recieved it as a birthday gift and I wear it everyday.

This perfume isn’t exactly what I was expecting.It has more of a grassy smell than floral so it’s not too feminine and that part I like.However the scent only lasts a few hours.My husband said he likes it but I was disapointed.While the scent is ok I prefer sunflowers for a not too sweet floral scent.
