i have wavey hair and in the back it is curly so for christmas i got this straightener it never broke or anything but it didnt straighten my hair very well unless i went over it like 10 times and my hair is just past my shoulders it dosent relly straighten when your hair is wet it also burns your fingers when you use it and again my hair just past my shoulders but it takes me 1 hour and 45 to straighten but it isnt all the way straight so i wouldnt get it and well my friend has the CONAIR straightener on this website and it works great for her and her hair is curly so i recomened that one

so im not a kid, im actually 15 and i have been straightening my hair since the seventh grade. i have very thick, medium-long hair and it is very wavy. i have used many different straighteners: hot tools, wigo, chi. the chi worked the best because it heats up to a very high temperature, the other two are basically useless and make my hair look greasy.
i just wanted to say [...] on this product, straightening irons are NOT magical devices. do you really expect your hair to become pin straight after running it through the iron three times? you are obviously in a dreamland. my hair usually takes me an hour to do and it usually takes me about 10-15 minutes to straighten each layer of hair. also, “my hair becomes wavy/curly when it is humid or rains” [...] ITS NOT THE STRAIGHTENERS FAULT, EVERYONES HAIR GOES BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL STYLE IF IT IS HUMID OR RAINING. its a simple fact that if there is moisture in the air, your hair will not stay straight.
also dont expect to get pin straight hair when straightening your hair wet. if you have moderately wavy a/o thick hair, you have to let it naturally dry and then straighten to get the best results. obviously your hair will become frizzy or wavy when it dries if you straighten it when its wet because there is still moisture locked in your hair.
thats all i have to say right now. when my straightener comes, i will write a review on how well this product works. as a frequent straightener and 4 year user of straighteners, i think i know more [...] on how to get the best results when straightening your hair.

this product (like any other) works well on really healthy, thick asian hair (which is why i even gave it a star at all). If you were to have dry, or thin, or curly hair, it will damage your hair A LOT. I used it constantly, and until i STOPPED using it for two weeks, i realized how damaged my hair was before from using it. If you were to use this product on your hair while it’s wet, it damages it A LOT for ALL hair types. I used to have a revlon ceramic straightener and it is about the same price as this, and it worked really well, considering it’s price. The ceramic on this straightener is VERY bad quality and it isn’t worth your money. I would NEVER even consider using this in a salon. I would recommend a Revlon straightener because out of all of the different brands i’ve used, it works and is the least damaging to my hair, because of the better quality ceramic.
dont’ get remington, cause this product bites.

When I first got this product it made my hair straight and I liked it. But then after about a month of owning it, my hair wouldn’t stay straight, and it doesn’t straighten your hair when its wet. Definately don’t get this product.
